Sum (as seen on Creative Review: http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2010/june/lcc-show) is a collection of short stories by David Eagleman about the afterlife. This work is based on the title story ‘Sum’ which works on the premiss that when a person dies, they experience their life again, but instead of re-living it linear manner, it is grouped into blocks of sensation, for example, an hour realising you’ve forgotten someone’s name, or two days lying.
In order to visually represent this I took the format of a time card and re-worked it’s grid so that each experience had it’s own card to represent.
